Our Vision

Hatzalah Darom serves as a Torah-oriented home to those who volunteer to save lives

The MDA-Hatzalah Darom volunteers have a Torah and halacha-based home under the guidance of the organization’s rabbi, Rabbi Moshe Bunim Mintz.
Our goal is to quickly and professionally reach anyone in need in medical distress, in line with Jewish law.
The organization has a halacha advice line for urgent halachic decisions by its rabbi.

Community guidance for maintaining a healthy lifestyle

The organization aspires to maintain a healthy lifestyle, including: healthy nutrition, maintaining physical fitness, and having life-saving equipment available to the community.
To achieve this goal, the organization holds regular sessions within the community about the importance of good nutrition, a healthy lifestyle and maintaining physical fitness. Regarding these activities, the organization works in partner with United Hatzalah worldwide, health care funds, and medical centers

Community activities

Emanating from a desire and mission that whenever there is an emergency medical incident within the community, the person in need will receive the quickest possible medical treatment, MDA-Hatzalah Darom supplies first aid cabinets in public places and synagogues, and recruits new volunteers from all over southern Israel.

The organization holds regular blood donation events in many places.

A warm, family home for our volunteers

The organization provides a warm, family home for its volunteers who devote themselves 24/7 to saving lives.

The organization holds exciting and enjoyable group bonding days as well as group Shabbosim for the volunteers and their families.

Hatzalah Darom helps us, the volunteers, throughout the year. They give you the feeling that what you do is appreciated, they are concerned for our well-being, and provide gifts for the festivals, group bonding days, exciting activities, and more.
